NGEN: Truckdriver, Light

The Truckdriver will operate a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments such as: manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail establishments, or between retail establishments and customers’ houses or places of business. This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order. Examples of daily tasks may include but not limited to the following: o Assisting in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.

o Assisting in Physical and Systematic Inventory of the customers equipment as needed.

o Pulling Equipment from inventory, preparing it for shipment.

o Operate Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) to assist in warehouse operations (Valid certificate required for forklift operation).

o Receiving of shipments into WMS after physical verification of inbound shipments.

o Preparing shipping documentation after physical verification of outbound shipments

o May send emails and reports in relation to the truck maintenance and mileage as needed.

May send emails and reports in relation to Forklift maintenance and hours as needed (Forklifts weighing less than 1 ½ Tons are industrial trucks and may be operated by Truck Drivers with valid certification).

Complete all Learning Management System (LMS) requirements as set by KBRwyle.

Qualifications - Internal Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/equivalent
  • One year of directly related work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license (State law will apply with regard to license requirements).
  • Valid DOT Yearly Physical
  • Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
