Pipefitter (Apprentice and Journeyperson)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision, assigned daily work.
  • May explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities.
  • Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.
  • Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean up activities.
  • Job may require moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.


  • You will be required to complete a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol test
  • You have worked on an industrial construction site before
  • This position is a camp based project work in Fort McMurray on a 14 days on / 7 days off rotation with travel allowance
  • Those from Alberta and Western Canada will be given preference

Required Tickets:

  • CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
  • Valid Provincial Apprenticeship Card, Journeyperson Ticket or Inter-provincial Red Seal Ticket
