SAIC is looking for a Procurement Support Administrator to join our talented team in our Fairfield, NJ office. The ideal candidate shall issue Request for Quotation for lower dollar, lower complexity purchases, often COTS items. He/she shall review quotations and make a recommendation for award and negotiate cost and terms and conditions.  

Additional responsibilities are:

  • May provide administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain and procurement department activities. 
  • Maintain files, log, record of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation. 
  • Maintain information on computer systems and assist in expediting orders
  • Assist other buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates when working as a team for large purchases or on a proposal. 
  • Develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items and prepare standard requests for quotation. 
  • Assignments may require initiative regarding pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions and invoice discrepancies.  


  • High School Grad or recent college grad
  • Experience with MS Windows Suite (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • 0-2 of experience with logistics or supply chain
