Description

SAIC is hiring a Technical Support III to join our team in Washington DC !

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Performs in-depth analysis, diagnosis and resolution of desktop and workstation issues.  Serves as the point of contact for escalated Tier Two troubleshooting of PC h/w and s/w, printer problems and network applications.

 

Must have experience with troubleshooting, problem escalation, MAC requests, inventory, as related to the Help Desk.  Must have detailed knowledge of server configuration and automated problem management and help desk tools.  Will assist in administrative duties as well.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • AA Degree in related discipline and three (3) years related experience; Or, High School and five (5) years related experience
  • Must have experience with troubleshooting, problem escalation, MAC requests, inventory, as related to the Help Desk. 
  • Must have detailed knowledge of server configuration and automated problem management and help desk tools. 
  • Will assist in administrative duties as well.

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

 

  • 5 years in IT, with 3 years specialized in PC and wireless technologies including expert knowledge of PC operating systems, networking and mail standards and work as a member of a help desk team. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate orally and in writing and a positive customer service attitude. 


CLEARANCE:

 

  • must have an active/current active Secret clearance
