Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a leader in implementing Asset Management Programs (policies and processes) for large water/wastewater utilities for immediate employment in our Baltimore, Maryland office. The ideal candidate will be a practicing professional engineer with at least 10 years of experience in infrastructure planning and condition assessment and the preparation of detailed capital and O&M plans. The selected candidate will have superior project management skills including the supervision and mentoring of junior staff, adherence to budget and schedules. The candidate will also have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:

  • BS in Engineering, Civil, Environmental or related degree

  • 8+ years of related experience

  • Experience with sewer system condition assessment and rehabilitation technologies including:

  • CCTV and manhole inspections

  • FOG Programs

  • Root control programs

  • Flow monitoring programs

  • Experience in establishing workflows and business processes in a multi-disciplinary environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer is highly preferred

  • Data and information systems management experience

  • Experience in Software including:

  • Esri's ArcGIS Suite

  • InfoAsset Planner and InfoAsset Manager

  • Hydraulic modeling software including Infoworks ICM and InfoWater

  • Cityworks Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

  • MS Office Products, Sharepoint, MS Teams

  • Primavera P6 Schedule

  • NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP certification

  • Familiarity with US EPA Consent Decrees

  • Experience developing and delivering training programs for O&M staff

  • Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Certification

  • Utility benchmarking and the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Risk Assessment, prioritization and Life Cycle Cost assessment
