ManTech Corporation has an immediate opening for a dynamic and entrepreneurial thinking individual to join our Corporate Partnership and Alliances team in Herndon, Va. and to serve as the main point of contact and Manager for one of our top corporate partners. Reporting to the Executive Director of Partnerships and Alliances, the individual will manage and support one or more key partnerships across all business units that creates future corporate growth. The function will entail indirect management with a proven ability to lead matrix teams toward successful outcomes.


The Manager, Partnerships and Alliances will be responsible for building, growing and managing key partners across the business. The executive in this role will report to and partner with the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships and Alliances to create the plan to support the overall go-to-market strategy and lead ongoing day to day management of this partner across all of ManTech. It is critical that this executive comes with a proven track record of having built and managed other partnership efforts, with a preference for prior commercial experience administering a partner program to serve the US Government, DOD, Intelligence Community and/or Civilian business sectors. A USG security clearance is desired, but not required. This executive must be comfortable working in an “all-hands on deck” start-up environment, while collaborating across the business to solve mission problems at speed. Success depends on the ability to blend high level strategy, technical and program knowledge, industry expertise, and pragmatic considerations to create differentiated opportunities that drive new customer acquisition and expansion.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities with key partner in alignment with ManTech Corporate, Program and Business Unit goals
  • Design, develop and validate creative solution offerings in key vertical and horizontal solution areas in conjunction with the business units.
  • Lead priority initiatives and build detailed road-maps for key partner that aligns with both ManTech strategic corporate thrusts and customer growth priorities
  • Creatively structure, negotiate, and execute complex strategic partnership agreements which may include OEM, White Label, joint development, joint delivery and other structures.
  • Expand executive relationships across partner service lines
  • Make actionable recommendations and quickly build consensus across all key ManTech stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsibility for leading the day to day partner relationship including go-to-market motions across all ManTech programs, services and solutions for key partner.
  • Responsible for increasing our footprint and growth, establishing ManTech as a trusted go-to-market partner, and facilitating long-term, value-based relationships through direct engagement with decision makers, strategic account plan development, and personalized, one-to-one marketing.
  • The individual will be measured on key partner engagement success factors, booking/TCV $$ Value, pipeline expansion, net new “leads” from partner, partner engagement satisfaction, and the ability to work well with the ManTech operating units.  
  • Produce qualitative and quantitative analyses of product/program performance, aggregate feedback, explore new strategic opportunities
  • Develop and maintain milestones and metrics to measure the progress of strategic plans, projects, and programs against organizational goals and objectives, while tracking day to day interactions via CRM system or partner portal as required
  • Represent ManTech in meetings, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the industry structure and strategic position
  • Work with business development, sales, solutioning and technology teams to understand both ManTech and partner capacity requirements across U.S. Governments markets and technologies
  • Coordinate service delivery best practices and high-level relationship guidance to partner delivery resources
  • Participate and attend local, regional and International Industry events


  • 5+ years of experience in creating, managing and leading partnerships, account management, business development, or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus; Technical background a plus.
  • Proven ability to define, develop and lead large programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Demonstrated exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside ManTech
  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Strong and proven written and oral communication skills
  • Commercial experience a plus
  • US Government Security clearance or demonstration of ability to obtain a clearance a plus
