Junior Lifting Device and Equipment Engineering Technician

KBR is seeking a Junior Lifting Device and Equipment Engineering (LDEE) Technician Troubleshoot and inspect lifting devices and equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. IBEW Union position.


  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other minor maintenance work.
  • Perform lifting device and equipment inspections, minor repairs, installations and respond to possible breakdown calls.
  • Examine all inspection tests, findings or repairs and obtain customer satisfaction.
  • Test each crane repair for complete functionality.
  • Complete daily paperwork accurately and completely; time tickets, service reports, and inspection reports.
  • Maintain all LDE program equipment and tools in compliance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and certifications.
  • Display a professional image and work within a team environment to accomplish goals.
  • Maintain work area, equipment and tools in a clean and organized manner, following all safety guidelines.

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 4 or more years of lifting device or equipment inspection and testing experience.

?Desired Certification & Skills:

  • Certified Inspector in Overhead and Mobile Crane, Powered Industrial Truck, and Mobile Aerial Platform.
  • Interpersonal relationship building and customer interfacing skills.
