Maintenance and Reliability Technician

Performs aviation maintenance & reliability analyses on naval aircraft, aeronautical systems, subsystems and components. The RCM Analyst works in a team environment analyzing engineering failure modes, performs basic statistical and cost analyses, proposes corrective actions, documents the analysis in a reliability control database, prepares failure and analysis reports, participates in RCM team meetings and presents completed analyses to the customer.


A Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years’ experience or equivalent professional work experience. In lieu of a degree, (6) years of equivalent professional work related experience is required.

Applied maintenance experience with navy aircraft, systems and support equipment.

Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Planning (PMIC, MRC decks, CNAF 4790.2 series), maintenance instruction manuals, and illustrated parts breakdown manuals.

  • Strong interpersonal skills in a team-based development environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred, but not Required:

ALQ-99 TJS knowledge and experience a plus.

NAVAIR Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) training is a plus, but is not required.
