Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Summer 2020 Engineering Intern-Transportation for employment in the Boston, MA office. AECOM is searching for candidates that have the ability to be a role model, be client-focused, be impactful and be decisive.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgement and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.

  • Exercise judgement limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.

  • Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.

  • Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

This position doesn't offer relocation assistance

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, Electrical or Software Engineering or related field with intent to return to school after the internship

  • Must have completed 1 year of study of applicable degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in technology in Transportation

  • GPA 3.5 or above
