Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a experienced, creative, and highly talented Senior Healthcare Project Manager to join our Program and Project Management Group for our Orlando Health Project in Orlando, FL. This person will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

  • Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

  • Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

  • Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.

  • Must have experience in Acute Care hospital construction experience, also MOB’s and ASC’s

  • Wide variety of hospital construction projects including clinical and non-clinical spaces both new and in renovated spaces

Fully knowledgeable in program and project management concepts including;

  • Scheduling and coordinating of multiple team members

  • Cost estimating

  • Documentation review including contracts, change requests, change orders and compliance with contract documents

  • Ability to read and analyze architectural drawings

  • Strong negotiating skills across the spectrum of the design and construction industry

  • New greenfield or large tower expansions preferred with backfill renovation

  • Well versed in client communication and reporting

  • Presents well in front of clients and able to maintain and grow client relationships

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Fluent in typical office software and construction software such as Primavera and eBuilder

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited institution

  • BA/BS + 8 years of related experience

  • Must have experience in Acute Care hospital construction experience, also MOB’s and ASC’s
