Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is seeking a qualified IT Project Manager for a technical Task Order effort. As the single POC for an IC customer, the selected individual will:


  • Oversee the implementation of a directorate level architecture and governance framework; oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems
  • Be the focal point for all areas of activity for all required contract performance including project status, tasking, schedule, performance, personnel, and problem resolution
  • Advise project, application and other relative teams to assure alignment with enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives, and address implementation issues
  • Create, execute and perform technical project work plans
  • Mitigate gaps in service due to attrition or fluctuation of contract personnel
  • Monitor, manage and control contract costs
  • Ensure all deliverables to include LOE certification, ROMs, ECPs, financial invoicing and other contractual documentation is complete, accurate and compliant
  • Communicate project status to the stakeholders and coordinate control gates

 

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor of Science degree and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Master of Science degree and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
  • Must have work experience working on intelligence community technology projects for technical software/systems engineering & architecture
  • Experience leading technical software/systems development life-cycle in Agile environment
  • Proven experience leading and working on systems/software engineering technical development and integration projects
  • Experience in preparing documentation for technical and process projects, and briefs
  • Ability to build cost estimates, schedules, and WBS’
  • Ability to build project schedules and allocate resources as needed
  • Experience developing both technical & functional requirements
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
  • Strong understanding of the system development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact on a daily basis with all levels of personnel
