AECOM has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager to support construction and delivery for environmental remediation projects.
This position can be based from a number of various AECOM office locations, or based remotely.
In this role the employee will be expected to travel throughout the United States possibly up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:
Providing overall management and administration to projects and assisting in establishing project specific objectives and policies
Support and manage construction / delivery for environmental remediation projects
Provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforce company and project policies, maintain close client interface, and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
This position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction projects.
BA/BS with 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Due to the nature of the work, candidate's must be a U.S. Citizen
Able to travel frequently for project needs.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's license.
Experience in managing environmental remediation projects $10milliion or greater - including excavation/removal, impoundment/landfill closure, large scale ground water treatment system installation and D4
Experience with environmental projects both in the public and private sectors
Types of project experience should include one or more of the following:
MGP (manufactured gas plant),
decontamination and demolition,
Must be proficient in MS Office - especially MS Project, Excel and P6
Estimating experience, preferably in environmental remediation
Technical writing experience
Demonstrated experience with clients and regulatory entities
