AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager whose primary focus will be with our highway/roadway group in our Salt Lake City office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Directs and manager the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Accountable for all facets of project delivery this includes project management, design, budget, schedule through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Work with the local area Business Line Leader and Senior Management on development and execution of project pursuits and delivery
Formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for strategic pursuits and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects
Establish relationships with both external and internal clients
Manage and mentor staff to enable seamless design and plan development
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally
Must possess excellent analytical, technical skills and communication (oral and written) skills
Proven track record with client account management, project pursuit execution, and engineering staff development.

BA/BS + 10 years of related experience; or AA/AS (US) + 12 years of related experience or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) +12 years of related experience; or HS/GED + 14 years of related experience; all including a minimum of 2 years of leadership
?Utah PE required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or in job related field
15 + years of progressive experience designing and delivering projects for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT)
Experience as project manager or lead roadway engineer on UDOT projects
Familiarity with Bentley products (MicroStation, Inroads, ProjectWise)
Client relationships and business development experience with UDOT
