SAIC is looking for a systems administrator to assist with unclassified and classified Windows environments, computer builds, upgrades, maintenance, office moves, diskless/disk full support, data separation and security practices, conference room VTC/computer use support, vault escorting of trades contract employees for recertification upgrades, and other duties as assigned by customer. The successful candidate will have the ability to work well with multiple staff, managers, and other computer support groups in a high stress environment as a critical member of the team. This individual needs to have proven ability to manage multiple and changing responsibilities to meet the dynamic nature of the position. This position will require interaction daily with no less than 5 to 10 team members, as part of the team dynamic.
Primary duties may include:
•Install, test, administer, and document distributed computing systems, including operating systems, shared components, commercial off-the-shelf application interoperability validation, and system security configuration management
•Support for a wide range of computer hardware, file storage subsystems, workstations, and peripherals
•Support to a Team Lead to determine integrated hardware and software solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs
•Understand and support the application and utilization of software packages.
•Define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms
•Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and 2 years or more experience OR 6 years or more of related experience in lieu of degree.
•US Citizen, DOE L clearance minimum to start, or DOD S, or TS, with reciprocity
•Able to obtain a DOE Q clearance
•At least 3-5 years of experience in Windows System Administration and Windows Operating Systems on desktops and ability to troubleshooting system setup

•Active DOE Q clearance 5+ years of Windows Desktop System Administrator
•Experience with classified computers, running in a MSVDI
•Experience with multiple software programs (Adobe Photoshop, DOORS, PDMLink, Adobe Acrobat, Office Suite, scanning and printing software)
•Experience in Virtual/Cloud Deployments
•Ability to travel for work on an infrequent basis
