KBR is searching for a Program Analyst to support our Government customer, Product Manager Air Warrior, in Huntsville, Alabama. The incumbent will serve as the Lead Research and Development/Test and Customer Funding Analyst. 8 years of experience required. An active Secret security clearance is required. Experience with the Army financial databases: SOMARDS and GFEBS required.

Duties and Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Customer funds execution within GFEBS (PO/PR, SPS PR, MIPRs, etc.) to support Air Soldier System and external requirements
  • RDT&E Internal Operating Budget and Obligation Plans
  • Annual Budget Planning and R-Form Support
  • Matrix Support 1144 Support Agreements, Economy Act Orders, and associated funding with multiple providers
  • Government Purchase Card Resource Management (Bank and GFEBS Set-up for GPCs)
  • Backup for Aircraft Procurement Army (APA) and Other Procurement Army (OPA) Funds Execution
  • Reviews and analyzes accounting system computerized reports.
  • Develops and presents recommendations for close-out and cleanup of legacy (Standard Operation and Maintenance Army Research & Development System (SOMARDS) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) accounts, transactions, and contracts.
  • Provides technical assistance and guidance to customer’s staff on business process, legacy system retirement, and target system implementation.
  • Participates in meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, government action officers, and other vendors to gather and integrate data, assist with project scheduling and track progress of assigned work segments.

Required Skills:

  • Strong writing skills
  • Significant experience in Microsoft Office based programs to produce financial reports and briefs

Required Experience:

  • Financial Management experience in a Government office
  • Experience using Government Financial Management databases to produce analytical products
  • Experience working independently within a specific timeline and producing financial reports supporting and acquisition program office.
  • Experience with GFEBS IDOCs
