DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under the supervision of the Director, the position is responsible for the managing all aspects of operations of the Indefinite Quality (IQ) Project.
  • Responsibilities include management and control of material and labor budget.
  • Supervises the construction, alteration and installation of structural, electrical, mechanical and architectural system, coordinates directly with Engineering and maintenance.
  • Control on design and P & E issues and participates in construction reviews.
  • Establishes project priority and reviews/recommends action on project requests.
  • Read and interpret blue prints and provide sketches as necessary.
  • Establishes and implements Standard Operating Procedures of administrative and technical directions received from higher authority.
  • Enforces Safety and Quality Control Program on all projects.

BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must speak, read and understand English language.
  • Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
  • Must be contract oriented and computer literate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:

  • Format training in supervision, management and/or employee relations is preferred.

EDUCATION:

  • High School OR TECHNICAL Graduate, Engineering graduate or equivalent is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Ten (10) years minimum total experience is construction with five years as supervisor, superintendent or assistant manager of various construction projects.
