DescriptionWe are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Problem Management Administrator to begin an exciting and challenging career in Washington, DC with Unisys Federal Systems. Must have minimum active DoD Interim Top Secret Clearance ! The role of the Problem Management Administrator is to investigate the root cause of high severity incidents or repeating incidents, driving actions to ensure: a) the true root cause is identified and agreed to by all relevantstakeholders and b) timely implementation of the fixes to prevent root causes from reoccurring. Other responsibilities include continuous analysis of all incidents to identify trends, implementation of remediation plans aligned to business priorities to reduce repeat incidents, and improvement of overall business productivity. This successful candidate will support the Major Incident Management function, driving resolution of major incidents across multiple customers, supported by timely, targeted, and meaningful communications to the relevant stakeholders.
QualificationsRequired - Provide on-site support to unclassified and classified environments - Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to define, plan and implement long-term goals, tasks and projects - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior leadership to include non-technical customer representatives - Hands-on experience in installing/configuring software and hardware - Demonstrated understanding of current and emerging technologies and service management concepts and techniques - Excellent problem solving, multitasking, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail - Excellent analytical skills, with a background in developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems Desired - Scripting skills: Ability to create scripts in PowerShell - Experience configuring Linux guests in a VMware ESX environment - Ability to develop a complete disaster recovery and system backup plan with the responsibility of producing and maintaining all system documentation Familiar with / Nice to Have: Wireshark, CCM Trace, SCCM, SCOM, Tanium, Aternity, Microsoft Tool Kit, Process Explorer, Performance Monitoring, Splunk Education / Certification / Security Clearanc - Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience - Possession of an active DoD 8140 cyber certification at IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP) or better; applicants without a valid DoD 8140 cyber certification will not be considered. - DoD 8140 IAT Level II cyber certification (CASP + CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH) desired. - Musy have minimum active DoD issued Interim Top Secret clearance !
