SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Web Application Developer to join our team in Arlington, VA.
The successful candidate must be a team player, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills.
Individual will work in a team environment with other government and contractor analysts and developers, and must possess strong analytic and technical skills.
Provide technical guidance and skills in support of information systems development and integration efforts.
Perform in a variety of technical areas including systems requirements analysis, data analysis and engineering, systems design, systems development, computer programming, systems testing and deployment, quality assurance, configuration management, and systems documentation.
Provide technical and administrative support for information systems development tasks, including the execution of technical tasks, the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and the progress of tasks in accordance with schedules.
Coordinate with management staff to confirm problem solution and user satisfaction. Shall perform all Work in government-provided facilities in the Mark Center/Pentagon/ VA area.
At Company's request, shall travel to Government specified sites in the United States or Internationally as required to support the demonstrations, meetings and fielding.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field and 5 years of experience with 10 years of related technical specialized experience; Advanced Degree may substitute for years of experience.
Proficiency with Web UX developer/ Front End Developer who is also proficient in back end. Possesses skills to work on both sides if necessary.
Keeps current with latest trends and best practices of UI/UX design and HCI(human-computer interaction).
Experience and skills conducting usability testing to identify and fix UI issues and gather real world intelligence from Target users.
Several years of experience designing and engineering UIs.
Experience and skill using design patterns to create simple and reusable components for complex UIs
Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, profiling and optimization
Designs code with simplicity, performance and detail in mind.
Familiarity with content management systems.
In-depth knowledge in systems, policies, procedures, personnel, and decision support data in order to provide useful business process applications and tools used by government personnel.
