SAIC is currently seeking an Optionally
Manned Fighting Vehicle Concept (OMFV) Project Manager for our Fort Benning, GA location. The selected candidate will serve as the
overall lead for the OMFV campaign of constructive simulation experimentation
in the Modeling and Simulation Branch (MSB) of the Maneuver Battle Lab.
Candidate will be required to coordinate, plan, and execute experimentation
projects from assignment through completion. Oversees fiscal, operational,
administrative, and human resources management of the program. Serves as principal point of representation
and liaison with external agencies and provides day-to-day technical -
professional guidance and leadership to Team members. Candidate will develop
and write an evaluation plan, prepare command briefings, prepare memorandum of
agreements, cost estimates, and coordinate Soldier and logistical support for
the experiment. Individual will write and staff final reports providing
insights and lessons learned based on an analysis plan.
BS Degree and 8 years of experience required (4 years equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)
Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
Project Manager is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and execution of simulation footprint and other logistics requirements to support live experimentation and coordination with the other MSB Managers for execution of the SIMEX and all associated activities.
Experienced in experiments focusing on the military utility of potential future Army capabilities and systems related to the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle Concept (OMFV).
Working in conjunction with project officers to provide a final report addressing all experiment issues, develops databases that effectively archive all data captured.
The candidate will be required to coordinate with various agencies to ensure experiment objectives are synchronized with Army, Program Manager-Maneuver Combat Systems (PM MCS), and Maneuver Center of Excellence requirements.
