Senior Configuration Management Specialist
Role and Responsibilities
KBR is currently seeking an experienced Senior Configuration Management Specialist (SCMS) for the Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI). The SCMS will development of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and ensure the implement of Configuration Management (CM) processes across JTDI IPT areas. The CM processes shall describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. The SCSM will support configuration planning and documentation that identifies original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. The SCMS is responsible for configuration change control and change process management so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. The SCMS will be responsible for configuration status accounting; tracks all problems and changes in product documents, software and reports changes, and current configuration; is responsible for configuration audits; and supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
Education Requirements: A Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university. Experience Requirements: Requires at least five (5) years of experience in quality management, of which at least two (2) years spent in a supervisory capacity. Experience
Experience Requirements: Eight (8) years of experience in performing configuration management for DoD IT systems including drafting, implementing, managing and improving an effective CM processes. A SECRET clearance required.
