Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager, this position will have overall responsibility for the design and coordination of technical issues among various disciplines on transportation projects involving highways, bridges and transit/rail structures and facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Professional engineer with years of managing design and design-build projects

  • Oversees engineering design and coordinate design among different disciplines .

  • Strong technical background

  • Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.

  • Consistently delivers profit margins planned.

  • Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.

  • Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).

  • Manages more complex clients and projects.

  • Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.

  • Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.

  • Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of project

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 year of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • PE License (NY or NJ)
