The Configuration Manager is responsible for managing the ENM/NED Configuration Management and Change Management program to include:
Configuration Identification: Identify and maintain configurations of systems, software, and related documentation, owned and managed by ENM/NED as required by the Managing State Projects for IT (MSP-IT) Lifecyle Model.
Configuration Change Control: Manage the ENM/NED change management ChM process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into the systems, software, hardware, and documentation managed and owned by ENM/NED per the Local Change Board (LCB). Ensure changes are escalated to the Bureau Change Advisory Board (ICAB) and participate in the ICAB as required .
Configuration Status Accounting (CSA): Ensure all changes are recorded in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and report the changes of the current configuration to the ENM/NED LCB.
Configuration Audits: Conduct periodic CM audits of the configuration baseline to ensure the baseline does not include unauthorized changes.
Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Support: Participate in the lifecycle of all ITSM processes for ENM/NED to include incident management, change management, knowledge management, problem management, design and transition of changed or new services, and Bureau-Level service asset/configuration management (SACM).
The individual shall work closely with the DOS customers and contractor staff and other key stakeholders, and will report directly to the NED Division Chief to ensure that products and services are in compliance with the overall DOS requirements, to meet the intended goals and generate the desired results of the project. This approach shall be followed from initiation throughout the life of the Vanguard 2.2.1 Program
Required Education & Experience:
In depth experience in supporting large scale IT service management contracts
Have knowledge of ISO 20000:2018.
CM Certifications is a plus.
Demonstrated understanding of organizational dynamics and experience with organizational development and change management methodologies.
Strong group facilitation and team building skills.
