APS-3: Operations Manager
Manage the planning and execution of both current and future operations at APS-3. Synchronizes and monitor the implementation of future requirements across several departmental or functional activities. Work with Program Leadership to establishes production standards, monitors compliance, and recommends operational improvements. Assist separate managers in tracking short and long term goals for the Program. Insures compliance with applicable government regulations and contract requirements.
KBR executes a contract for the US Army to provide Maintenance and Logistics services for the Army's Prepositioned Warstock set #3 (APS-3) at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston, located on the Charleston Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, SC.
The Current Operations (CUOPS) Manager leads multiple teams of planners, analysts, and schedulers responsible for:
Future Operations mission planning, master schedule development, production analysis, terrain management, future equipment fielding coordination, as well as composing program management briefings for the APS-3 program. Current Operations Support team, production control, movement control, and the maintenance contact team. Manage and facilitate all aspects of production and material control across the program.
Current Operations Manager may have frequent interaction with the USG to include providing formal briefings, reports, and program updates.
The APS-3 program works a 4X10 schedule, Monday-Thursday. Overtime on Friday-Sunday can be expected periodically.
Due to the mission of the program, APS-3 assets may be required to be issued anywhere in the world, and on short notice. In this event, KBR has a requirement to send personnel to the download site to facilitate download, configuration, and handoff of APS assets. The Current Operations Manager may be required to deploy in order to help facilitate these activities.
