SAIC has a career opportunity for a Configuration / Change Manager (CCM) in support of an Army customer. The CCM will provide Mission Command Network operations and maintenance services to organizations and users serviced by the United States Army Command Information Systems Activity – Pacific (USACISA-P). This position will be located in South Korea.  

Under general direction, the CCM is responsible for effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the accepted DOD, Army and USACISA-P baseline(s) standards. The CCM develops, distributes, and tracks all change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board action and trains personnel by conducting workshops and seminars on the proper methodology to maintain a proactive CCM program. Provides daily support and direction to staff as to change status requirements, deadlines, and problems. This position in designated Mission Essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to project teams in configuring and base-lining project items.
  • Prepare configuration documentations and maintain Configuration Management database (CMDB).
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing CCM processes.
  • Maintain data quality, integrity and security of CMDB.
  • Schedule audits on CMDB and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
  • Coordinate with USCISA-P and contractor Cybersecurity staff security guidelines to avoid unauthorized damage or usage of project items
  • Work with USACISA-P government and contractor staff in development and enhancement of CCM tools.
  • Assist in management, maintenance and automating of CCM tools.
  • Other duties as assigned



Education and Experience: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business or an IT related discipline from an accredited institution. In addition to educational experience, a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in Configuration / Change Management (CM) on IT service-related contracts.

  • Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature
  • Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Certification Requirement: Must have ITIL Foundations certification and IAT II certifications IAW DODI 8570.01M (GSEC or Security+ or SCNP or SSCP)

Security Clearance Requirement: Must have an active Secret clearance
