SAIC is currently seeking the opportunity to continue support for the FAA on the ETASS contract and we are looking to expand that support in the following areas.
Support for the EnRoute and Oceanic Second Level Engineering Group in their mission of providing Second Level Engineering services to National Airspace Systems in the EnRoute and Oceanic domains.
Provide FAA Mission Support Services, Air Traffic Control Procedures for AJV-P and AJV-I with technical subject matter expertise and analytical support for the preparation, review and coordination of plans, change documents, safety documents, etc. related to OS functional responsibilities.
Perform Human Factors (HF) support tasks for the FAA acquisition of systems for the National Airspace System (NAS) and in accordance with FAA Order 9550.8 sets FAA policy regarding the role of human factors research and engineering and AMS policy on the integration of HF into all system acquisition activities.
Project management support and operational and integration support to the Integrated Display System Replacement (IDSR) Program. Conduct research and analysis in support of IDSR and prepare related documentation of business and system requirements. Provide technical and operational support to IDSR in the following main tasks: requirements definition, development, and documentation, risk assessment, evaluation, subject matter expertise, operations integration, impact analysis, and airspace-related changes to new systems that affect the National Airspace System (NAS). Provide human factors engineering functions
These positions will be located throughout the US, with a large majority to be located in the DC Metro area. All these positions are contingent upon contract award.
