We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Control Analyst to join our team in Alexandria, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with SAIC.

In this role you will support a senior Executive Director and provide back-up assistance when required.  You will provide a variety of contract support functions such as reviewing and tracking Background Investigation packages, managing training compliance and working with related database systems. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and perform a variety of complex and routine administrative duties. Plan and arrange meetings, events, and handle matters requiring discretionary judgment and confidentiality.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Independently plans, coordinates, organizes, prioritizes and manages workload while remaining cognizant of changing prioritizes and competing deadlines. 
  • Inputs, edits, retrieves, formats, and transmits diverse reports and documents utilizing computer databases, spreadsheets, communications and other software packages with accuracy. 
  • Researches information to support organization as necessary.
  • Perform a variety of complex and routine administrative duties
  • Interact with members of the staff, the customer and any of the contractors assigned to the program

  • Act as a liaison between internal and external teams to accomplish business needs

Position Requirements:

Displays a strong knowledge of desktop tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively as a team member and independently, and work comfortably in an ever-changing environment
  • Must be able to make independent decisions within established guidelines regarding planning, organizing and the scheduling of work

  • Knowledge of business processes supporting project management

  • Proven ability to ask questions of team members to drive outcomes

  • Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Department of Defense active duty service (preferred)

Customer Requirements

  • Clearance - Must have a current CBP BI or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Citizenship - Must be a U.S. Citizen


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent
