Initiates and coordinates NGMS Ranger training programs to support the MNG Training Base in Ranger doctrinal material and the NGMS Ranger POI. Performs as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on training the Ranger POI by being professionally skilled in Ranger training and the systems approach to training process. Develops POI(s) for NGMS programs of instruction in support of Ranger training to enhance training capabilities as directed and prioritized by OPM and NGMS. Develops, staffs and submits POI(s) to OPM-MNG for approval. Provides Ranger Training and assistance to NGMS Officers/NCOs. Assists OPM and MNG with the implementation phase of Ranger training. Conduct Train-the-Trainer (T3) Course. Transition as directed in support of the Training Assistance Team (TAT).

Education Level: Some College preferred; Graduate of Non-commissioned Officer Basic Course, or Basic Officer Course.

Experience: Former officer or non-commissioned officer with at least 2 years' experience in U.S. military training methods of instruction.

Qualification: Must be Ranger qualified and served in one of the U.S. service branches. Served or assigned to a Ranger School, Detachment or Special Operations unit preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: Must have knowledge and experience with the Systems Approach to Training and basic U.S. Army training methodologies. Must have a thorough knowledge of U.S. Military Ranger Operations. Professional training experience in a multi-cultural environment is desired. Must possess superior ability to express thoughts both orally and written. Possess a valid State issued driver's license.
