SAIC is looking for a hard working, mechanically minded individual to assist the team in Panama City, FL to support of several programs we currently have and additional ones we are pursuing.  

Job Responsibilities:

The Electronics Technician Maintenance II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.  Will work to drawings and specifications and build assemblies, sub-assemblies, cables, etc. as depicted in the drawings and specs.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in related experience and three (3) years related experience; OR, Associates Degree in related discipline and six (5) years related experience.


Ability to perform the following:

  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Work independently or with little supervision
  • Utilize hand tools, meters, oscilloscope, etc.
  • Use power tools, drills, saws, etc.
  • Soldering connections
  • Assemble cable harnesses per drawings
  • Possible international travel


US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.  A minimum of an Interim Secret is required to start.
