SAIC is hiring a Systems Engineer as a key point of contact for training new ground processing of on-orbit space systems and services to internal and external customers in space operations centers. You will support customers in ongoing initiatives using your space and ground systems experience to develop training curriculums, help mission partners set up their training curriculums and materials, and coordinate all training materials, courses, and instructors.  You will use your knowledge and experience to:

  • Inform and coordinate trainers and users on the mission, tactics and procedures for performing our mission to include application tool capabilities and plans

  • Understand external customer requirements as it relates to our mission

  • Coordinate with users, mission partners and developers to develop longstanding training curriculums and courses

  • Understand user organizations and requirements, develop targeted training plans and provide materials to trainers

  • Provide feedback to developers for discrepancies  and change requests for future needs

  • Coordinate the execution of demonstrations to VIPs and others based on the organizational strategy

  • Participate in and coordinate new programs with ground and space training and demonstrations

    • Includes local travel (10%) and less frequent overnight travel (5%) to various program developer and user locations and technical exchange meetings



  • BS degree with nine (9) years or more of experience; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree

  • Engineering and technical background in space operations, space situation awareness, ground processing, on-orbit activities and/or space modeling and simulation

  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph prior to the start date
