Perform Human Factors (HF) support tasks for the FAA acquisition of systems for the National Airspace System (NAS) and in accordance with FAA Order 9550.8 sets FAA policy regarding the role of human factors research and engineering and AMS policy on the integration of HF into all system acquisition activities.  Requirements may include:

·       Support of the development of a Human Factors Framework for the Program Management Organization;

·       Human Factors planning;

·       Design and analysis of Early Operational Evaluations/Involvement and Risk Reduction Demonstrations;

·       Human Factors engineering assessments;

·       Human Factors design requirements development;

·       Contract document review;

·       Contractor deliverables review;

·       Technical Interchange and Program Meeting participation/facilitation;

·       Testing of user-system interface attributes;

·       Development of Computer-Human Interfaces (CHI);

·       Human Factors studies;

·       Serving in a lead role to coordinate completion of tasking with FAA customer;

·       Training support; 

·       Preparing HF portions of Acquisition and Test & Evaluation (T&E) documentation (including developmental and operational testing).
