SAIC is seeking a Data Center Program Manager to join
our account team supporting a major state & local government customer. The
Program Manager has primary responsibility for managing the transition of
complex projects associated with the coordination of a major Data Center
relocation effort, and overseeing and managing the operational aspects of
ongoing projects, and serving as liaison between project management and
planning, project team, and line management. This person will be responsible
program and project management principles consistent with the Commonwealth
standard policies, procedures, standards, and toolsets which leverages best

changes to team policies as necessary.
Background / Experience
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing projects and project scheduling. Experience with state & local government customers is a strong plus.
Degree in related discipline and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience;
Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and two (2) years or
more of related experience. May consider a high school education and an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
and adherence to PMI’s or similar Project and portfolio methodologies
experience working in or supporting a PMO
with complex Data Center Relocation efforts that involve the coordination of several
projects, vendors, and customers
experience in supervising Project Analysts, Project Teams, supporting
project scheduling and managing complex projects and programs
experience developing risk management and mitigation planning
experience supporting project scheduling and managing projects
experience in Supplier Management
working in ITSM
experience working with ServiceNow
experience developing OLAs, Governance, Policy, and Procedures
Certifications / Other
PMP Certification Required
PgMP Certification Preferred
ITIL Certification Preferred
Proficient with MS Office Suite,
MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Products.
Prior experience working with
ServiceNow project scheduling function preferred.
Prior experience working with or
for a Commonwealth of VA Agency or VITA desired.
