Classified VTC Support (SR1395) - Military veterans preferred

SAIC is looking for a candidate to provide support for classified video teleconference (CVTC) meetings and audio-visual (A/V) support for special projects/events. Duties of the position will include:
  • help desk support
  • test and prep of CVTC systems for daily operational use
  • end user support of A/V during meetings
  • create or obtain classified bridge information based on end users requirements
  • de-conflict conference room requests
  • maintain CVTC security logs
  • connection troubleshooting as required
  • assist the CVTC system engineer with basic maintenance and system installations


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management of Information Systems, or relevant discipline and 2 years or more of professional experience OR 6 years or more of professional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active DOE L or DoD Secret clearance (eligible for reciprocity)
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance
  • Knowledge of CVT systems and how to operate
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with various internet browsers and search engines
  • Must have strong customer service experience and communications skills and able to interact professionally with end users
  • Experience with common VTC codecs such as Polycom, Cisco and Tandberg
  • Good organization skills and the able to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Ability to obtain safety certificates required for assisting the CVTC Engineer
  • Meet physical requirements of position
  • Occasionally lifting of 25 lbs. or less
  • Stand or sit for extended periods of time (up to three hours)
    Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
    Climb (stairs, ladders) and balance (ascend/descend, work atop, traverse)
