Systems Analyst – Modeling & Simulation

KBR Space and Missile Defense Systems Division is seeking a Systems Analyst to support system level models and simulations (M&S) Verification and Validation (V&V) and analysis activities for the Lower Tier Project Office (LTPO), including integration, analysis, test, V&V, and evaluation of Army weapon systems. The successful candidate will use high fidelity, system level M&S to conduct V&V and analyses and provide assessments of system capabilities against a variety of world-wide threats. You will provide analytical support for specific test phases required for fielding of the Army weapon system. You will perform analysis using weapons system M&Ss to include ground test, pre-flight analysis and post-flight reconstruction, and provide comparative feedback to the customer as required. As a System Analyst, you will prepare reports and present technical briefings to domestic customers, as well as prepare for and support meetings with analyses and reports. In addition, you will develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools.

A BS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science and 7 or more years of experience are required.

Must be a self-starter and able to work individually as well as part of a team while in a contractor support role. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to provide direction to teammates on tasks. Experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) weapons systems, data analysis, Flight/Ground system tests and system M&S and/or system performance analysis required. Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Visual Basic (VB), Visual Basic.NET (VB.NET) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming languages, Visual Studio, SQL, and/or MySQL desired. Secret clearance is required.
