Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an Electrical Inspector for immediate employment for the Path Station located in Journal Square. The incumbent will be supervising and inspecting the installation of electrical substations and distribution cabling. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
Provides on the job training to new employees.
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Tracks quality assurance progress.
Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
Minimum Requirements
HS + 6 years related experience or demonstrated equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Rail transit experience is preferred
NYC or NJ agency experience
