ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Maintenance Scheduler is a maintenance concept utilized to track and schedule maintenance tasks for the Fleet. It is designed to assist in the scheduling and prioritization of Preventive Maintenance and corrective/discrepancy maintenance tasks through an integration with the Navy’s current maintenance system. The ideal candidate shall be knowledgeable about the software development life cycle (SDLC) and be able to adhere to coding standards, follow team established software development processes, use established configuration management tools. The primary responsibilities of the candidate include web development in using multiple technologies, unit testing, and continuous integration with the opportunity to participate in team strategy and improvement. Our diverse team operates in an interactive, collaborative and self-organizing Agile team environment. Looking for candidates with experience with JavaScript - React.js, Redux and Node.js; C# - .NET Core Web API, SQL – Microsoft T-SQL; Version control – git; Service-oriented architecture, client certificate authentication, and REST APIs; Single Page Applications (SPA), and continuous integration/continuous development with Team Foundation Server (TFS).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline and 5+ years of software development experience is required.

Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with ability to obtain DOD Secret clearance or higher

Experience / Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Participate in the full software development life cycle utilizing Agile methodologies

Object oriented programming

Experience developing in MVC/MVP

Experience in Automated end-to-end (E2E) testing

Strong software lifecycle management experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Detail oriented

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with CMMI ML 3 processes

Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Services (TFS)

Industry certifications are desired (CISSP, Security +, CSM, PMP, etc.)
