Software Developer (Python) - Military veterans preferred

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Software Developer (Python). The work is high profile and critical to our nations’ security. 

Location: Based out of Orlando, Fl, with remote work option

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom applications, tools, and APIs to support the automation of virtualized infrastructures. You will primarily work on Python code and the Django framework. You will regularly work with UI developers to build modules and APIs that support their web interfaces. You will also write code that interfaces with lower-level system APIs to orchestrate virtualization tasks.

Location: This position is in Orlando, FL. Remote work is possible; however, relocation to Orlando is preferred.

Qualifications:

• 3 more years of experience in Python and the Django framework
• Experience with Git version-control
• Proficiency with Linux
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT, engineering, or science discipline
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• RHEL 8 or CentOS 8 experience
• Proficiency with BASH shell
• Experience with OpenStack or similar virtualization technology
• Networking experience
• Experience with Rust or Erlang
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Agile development (Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, etc.)
• Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
