Title:

Maintenance Mechanic - Electrical Controls Lead

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under limited supervision maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced electronic systems in an aerospace manufacturing facility. Work with a team and outside contractors to maintain equipment uptime and perform required maintenance. Record all maintenance and repairs in CMMS

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • CNC Machines
  • Vacuum pumps
  • Test Sets
  • Motors, Pumps, Blowers, and associated equipment (3 1
  • Completing appropriate documentation and paperwork.
  • Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties.
  • Interpret and apply electrical and electronic schematics pertaining to testing and measurement electronics.

Preferred Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two year Technical Degree in Electronics Technology or related field preferred

Experience:

  • 6-8 years of additional related education and/or related combined work experience in testing and electronics.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting CNC Machines is a plus.
  • Advanced experience working with various types of testing equipment such as multi Meters, test set configuration, capacitance meter, Hi-pot tester, oscilloscope and mega-ohm meters.
  • Experience interpreting schematic diagrams and wire lists.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) to record maintenance and repairs.

Required skills:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, especially electrical systems up to 480V.
  • Must be able to read and interpret test instructions, assembly instructions, and engineering drawings (blueprints
  • Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Good communication skills with operators, other mechanics and resources
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions/recommendations based on analysis.
  • Detail oriented individual who accurately records information.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment & handle multiple tasks.
