Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to be based in our Chattanooga, Tennessee location.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • This is a second shift position. Second shift typically starts at 17:00 and ends at 01:30 the following morning.

  • Directly supervise craftsmen for placing, finishing, and repairing concrete.

  • Responsibilities are to ensure assigned job site operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Construction Manager in a coordinated effort.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 4 years of related eperience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Heavy civil mass (3-inch aggregate) concrete experience.

  • ACI Concrete Construction Inspector, Level II

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineering experience.

  • Lock and dam experience.
