Job Summary

  • Inspection and supervise Contractor’s works and ensure standard of material, workmanships, quality control of all civil / structural works are satisfactorily achieved.

  • Keep proper record of all works including but not limited to tests, inspections, minutes of site meeting.

  • Monitor and report on the works progress and highlight to S.O. any delay by Contractor and get Contractor to submit mitigation measures.

  • To check all drawings and specifications and ensure the latest copy is kept in site office at all times.

  • To check and sign off Daily, Weekly and Monthly Site reports submitted by Contractor.

  • To resolve site problems raised by Contractors and seek QP’s consent on the solution if necessary.

  • Manages documents throughout all phases of a project.

  • Maintains project directory.

  • Maintains and files reproduced document originals, as well as revisions for easy retrieval.

  • Develops project-specific filing structure and document control procedures, including implementing into required electronic document management systems (EDMS).

Minimum Requirements

  • Registered with IES/ACES as Clerk-of-Works/Resident Technical Officer

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant site supervision and working experience

  • Experience in the supervision of M&E works in commercial buildings, including T&C of M&E system will be advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Building Services from a recognized tertiary institution
