Job Summary

AECOM is seeking experienced Senior Program Managers in Transportation/Infrastructure. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation/infrastructure industry and have a successful track record with delivery of large capital programs. This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with large capital infrastructure projects for our clients and selected candidate can be located anywhere in the US.

The applicant will have demonstrated experience in leading major pursuits and the delivery of major programs. The objective of the position is to lead, pursue, develop and execute major projects required to deliver client programs within established and agreed budgets and schedules, thereby expanding AECOM’s reputation as the preferred transportation service consultant in the industry.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with the National Business Line, Regional Business Line and Senior Management on development and execution of significant project pursuits and delivery

  • Establish relationships with both external and internal clients and customers, including industry associations and other potential consultant team members and construction contractors

  • Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally

  • Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing transportation project teams

  • Proven track record with large client account management, project proposals, and engineering/planning staff development

  • Work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients

  • Work with various multi-disciplined teams

Minimum Requirements

  • BS required in Engineering or related discipline;

  • 12+ years of related experience in engineering (engineering design & management, project management, program management)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PE or PMP with over 20 years' experience in management or engineering with large program management experience

  • Master’s Degree a plus
