AECOM is seeking a Senior Transit Systems/SCADA Engineer to join our growing Southeast transit business line. The individual will be based in the Southeast U.S, and will help lead our Southeast Transit Systems team, as well as coordinate activities and efforts with AECOM’s national Transit practice. In general, this position is responsible for the following:
managing our relationship with the Operations and Systems leaders for key transit clients across the Southeast;
developing AECOM’s relationship & business portfolio with our current and potential transit and rail clients across the region and coordinating these regional efforts with similar efforts across the U.S.;
Assist in developing AECOM’s transit systems team and personnel across the Southeast in order to effectively deliver on current and projected backlogs.
The Senior Transit Engineer will be based in the southeastern U.S. and will be required to travel within the region to perform work and market clients. The Senior Transit Engineer will work with our current Southeast team of approximately 100 transit professionals based in offices in MD, VA, NC, GA and FL, as well as the 700+ transit specialists across AECOM’s national transit practice to deliver projects and expertise to SE transit agencies, DOT’s and other transportation clients across the Southeast and along the Eastern seaboard.
BS in a related engineering discipline plus 12 years of related industry experience.
Knowledge and experience with transit and SCADA systems
Knowledge and experience with client development in the transit industry
Subject Matter Expert in transit systems and SCADA
Regional US Southeast Region transit industry experience
