Provides Configuration Management (CM) support for Combined Tactical Training Range (CTTR) East Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance Teams.

Provides CM training and assistance across the complex, as required.

Maintains the CM process for the CTTR East to include:

Evaluating and monitoring modifications to equipment or facilities.

Reviewing, promoting, and assist with generating change requests (CR) required to improve range operability/reliability/maintainability.

âEnsure applicable CM standards are imposed on vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.

Maintains the East Coast portion of the CTTR Configuration Management System (CCMS) database of all Configuration Items (CI) and their related documentation, to include a complete set of System Specifications, Software Design Documents, Interface Design Documents, Test Plans, Operators' Manuals, Software Users' Manuals, and Software Programmers' Manuals, and other related technical documentation.

Tracks and monitors approved changes to include capture of supporting documentation, manuals, and modification of repair parts, interfacing equipment, software, and system baseline and testing data.

Updates technical document to the Soft Copy Document Library in CCMS.

Oversees surveying, drafting technical documentation to ensure CM support for contract equipment, systems, targets, and facilities.

Creates CTTR East Engineering Task, Sustainment, and Special Project Pages in SharePoint.

Reviews reports and confers with Operations, Maintenance, Range Management, and Engineering personnel to resolve configuration issues.

Assist with Physical Configuration Audits to ensure CM documentation remains accurate and reliable.

Develops, implements, and maintains CM Plan in accordance with the Engineering and Configuration Management Plan and in compliance with ANSI/EIA 649.


Minimum Requirements

Associates degree and two to three years' experience in Configuration Management (CM). Equivalent experience may be substituted for specialized education, where qualified CM performance can be demonstrated.

Three to five years' technical experience with complex hardware and software environment.

Two years' experience in technical publications and documentation.

Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, and technical drawings for electrical and mechanical systems.

Three years' engineering-related supervisory/managerial experience or equivalent education.

Experienced with ANSI Y14-2000 standards for technical drawings.

Experienced with ANSI EIA-649 standards for configuration management.

Experienced with configuration/version control of software programs.

Experienced with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD.

Possess a valid state issued driver's license.

Must be a US citizen.

Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret government security clearance.

Ability to speak, read, and write English.


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Configuration Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
