Title:

Sr. Specialist, Rates

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Prepare schedules and provide assistance in the development of the annual forward pricing rate proposals and incurred cost submissions
  • Perform monthly analysis of actual costs (rates) compared to budgeted cost (rates) to provide explanations of material variances to both KBR management and DCMA
  • Interface with DCAA and DCMA personnel to support audit requests and provide written responses to audit reports
  • Perform periodic testing to help ensure unallowable costs are properly segregate in KBR's accounting system
  • Conduct various special assignments as delegated by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree and 5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in performing cost and indirect rate monitoring and trending analysis
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective use of Costpoint, SAP, or Hyperion is a plus
  • Familiarity with the FAR and CAS is a plus
