Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Account Executive, Defense Intelligence Agency to join our team in Herndon, VA.


Identify and qualify opportunities with the organization and its stakeholders related to information technology, Cyber, software applications development, infrastructure, and analytics. You will work closely with the Vice President of Account Management and Line Lead within the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group to develop an executable Market Account Plan that focuses on identifying, qualifying and winning new business with this customer. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and Qualify a Pipeline of DIA opportunities aligned with ManTech’s core competencies
  • Develop and implement Customer Engagement Plans for both the DIA and on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis to engage clients in identifying and shaping opportunities
  • Develop strategies/actions to shape business efforts as well as gaining competitive intelligence/business intelligence on both competitors and customers
  • Present briefings to leadership that include business case/value proposition to support investments (dollars, resources) towards Capture and Bid decisions
  • Drive company Branding activities congruent with business opportunities including: White papers, technology demonstrations, RFI responses and participation in Industry groups to gain insight to near/far-term customer & mission needs 
  • Identify technology/staffing gaps and vet teaming partners that help raise opportunity Pwin. Maintain business relationships with Industry Partners to facilitate teaming and knowledge management.
  • Support and successfully perform against yearly company and individual goals.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of ManTech’s capabilities, technology, and business objectives, and work closely with operational P&L to provide solutions to the DIA

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably with a technology background
  • 8+ years performing Business Development (sales, marketing, capture) activities in the IC, with direct DIA experience within the last 3 years. Strong preference for candidates that also managed programs with this customer.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently winning opportunities up to $100M; experience with prospects greater than $100M strongly desired.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ a CI Polygraph.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
