Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, Program Manager to join our team in the Herndon, Virginia. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the aggregate ManTech team (including subcontractors) as well as building / establishing a ManTech presence at the FAA. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for growing revenue base through winning additional task orders. 

• Responsible for overarching contract performance as well as resource allocation(s).

• Serve as the single point of contact on this program between ManTech and the customer.

• Responsible for all post-award execution activities and respective meetings.

• Serve as a single point of contact for core team members and prospective subcontractors.

• Responsible for all post-award contract-level meetings.

• Responsible for the performance of a relatively significant program or multiple smaller programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.

• Oversee the technology development and/or application, marketing, and resource allocation within program client base.

• Program area typically represents more than three functional areas such as engineering, systems analysis, quality control and administration.

• Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals.

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree AND (10) ten-years of relevant program management experience

• Leadership experience with large-scale systems engineering, IT, and overarching innovations

• Previous experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

• Previous experience with Systems Engineering

• Familiar with IDIQ contracts

• Familiar with the Business Development and Capture process

• Exceptional communication, team building and mentoring skills.  Strong ability to prioritize, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and switch between assignments quickly.  Strong ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher

• A PMP certification

• Previous Senior Executive Service (SES) experience

• Familiar with the Shipley process

• A current Top-Secret clearance

Security Clearance Requirements:

• US Citizenship required and active (or ability to obtain) Top Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
