Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master to join our team in Chantilly, VA.  The Scrum Master continuously tracks and reports on resources assigned to various tasks associated with the sprint cycles and validates timelines and progress are in-sync towards milestones. Working with a team of developers and engineers, you will facilitate the daily standup and maintain the burndown chart and provide reporting as needed to update statuses and track progress for management and the customer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Motivate and guide the Scrum teams with Agile best practices
• Track and report on tasking progress against established milestones for each sprint
• Be able to identify obstacles and overcome them by removing impediments or guiding the team appropriately to mitigate the issue
• Interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner
• Provide guidance to improve the Scrum teams by maturing their processes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience
• Scrum Master certification
• ITIL Foundation certification within 6 months of hire
• Excellent organizational skills
• Communicate well, both written and verbal

Desired Qualifications:

• IT Developer/Engineer technical background
• 2-3 years experience as a Scrum Master in Systems Design type environment
• Understanding of generalized concepts pertinent to software development, and systems administration/engineering to be able to guide forward progress appropriately

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the past 6 years.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
• Must be able to move about inside the office to access team members
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Must be able to identify and assess employee deviations from established technical priorities and Sprint tasks
