Job Summary

Participate in the successful delivery of projects; establish and maintain client base and working relationships; carry out assigned tasks reliably and accurately;

Execute various activities involved in the timely, high quality, and cost-effective delivery of the environment projects;

Participate in environmental impact assessments, environmental monitoring and permitting for projects in various industry sectors;

Perform the following environmental services:

Initial Environmental Examination

Environmental Permitting

Other environmental studies that may be assigned

Draft and/or review technical reports;

Integrate reports from sub-consultants;

Provide accurate and professionally responsible outputs on program and on budget;

Assist in preparing and packaging proposals;

Perform fieldwork activities including liaising with various government officials or representatives, and corporate representatives;

Maintain harmonious client relationships;

Coordinate with various accredited laboratories and agencies for purposes of testing;

Perform business development activities such as arranging logistics and schedule meetings with potential clients, assistance during presentations, and in networking with various corporations and various organizations to be able tap potential clients;

Ensure the relevant QA procedures are followed without exception;

Carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures;

Report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior;

Perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign form time to time;

Work under the general supervision of Senior Environmental Scientist.

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Fisheries or any related field;

PRC license if and when required;

At least 3-5 years solid experience in coral reef and sea grass surveys, must have EIA background;

Knowledge of environmental impact assessment methods, environmental monitoring procedures and protocols, environmental audit protocols, environmental site assessment methods and protocols;

Knowledge of Philippine environmental laws and regulations;

Excellent project management skills;

Excellent technical writing and presentation skills;

Computer literate; knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, statistical analysis.
