Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a experienced, creative, and highly talented Field Engineer/Inspector to join our Program and Project Management Group for our USVI - US Virgin Island project in USVI.. This person will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Performed QA/QC field inspections for Contractor's planned activities.

  • Maintain daily progress report with photographs.

  • Ensure work conforms to plans, specs, standards, RFIs and Submittals.

  • Coordinate inspection activities and labor interviews.

  • Monitor contractor's site safety and site cleanliness.

  • Lead Weekly Field Coordination Meeting and prepare meeting minutes.

  • Track and maintain ongoing punchlist and non-compliance work.

  • Communicate and notify GSA/CM of any work deviations or incident.

  • Under general supervision, performs routine duties.

  • Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.

  • Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.

  • Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.

  • Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.

  • May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.

  • Other duties as assigned by CM.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience
