Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a experienced, creative, and highly talented Federal Strategic Manager to join our Program and Project Management Group for our GAS Federal team in Arlington, VA.. This person will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Nationwide subject matter expert for GSA and other federal civilian customers

  • Help to identify the key government personnel in each region

  • Help to formulate strategy for agencies and pursuits

  • Provide subject matter expert input for Pink, Red, etc. proposal reviews

  • Generally assist with questions about pre-positioning, pursuit, and capture of GSA work, and other federal agencies

  • Plans, organizes and implements all business development activities for an assigned market(s), or geographic territory.

  • May supervise and oversee business development staff and managers.

  • Participates in decision-making.

  • Works independently to pursue development of new business prospects.

  • Assists in the development of proposals and gives presentations to potential clients.

  • Has broad knowledge of the business to support cross-discipline, business line, and region collaboration.

  • Generally has business development and/or technical experience, with hands-on cost proposal development.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 10 Years of relevant experience
