FTI is a stable and growing Government DoD Contracting Firm looking to expand its financial team. We are seeking an experienced individual to support its Corporate Finance Department. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director with assigned duties and responsibilities including carrying out core financial planning and analysis and playing an important role in managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies of an organization to achieve committed business performance.
Assist Finance Director to drive decision making across the business to meet organizational objectives by providing insightful financial analysis, interpretations, predictions, support, tools and recommendations; and clearly communicate results and recommendations to ensure clarity and optimal decision making.
Reviewing, monitoring, and managing corporate projection and budget and assisting Finance Director in developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
Supports Finance Director with ad-hoc information requests and projects during the annual budget process and throughout the year.
Develop ad hoc models and financial analysis
Effectively multi-task while managing deadlines and competing priorities
Advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, dealing with ambiguity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Assist in roll out of new corporate modeling and planning software platform.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial reporting for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
Ability to work with minimal oversight and in a fast pace environment.
2-5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably with a mid to large company that has gone through significant growth
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in related field, required
2-5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably with a mid to large company that has gone through significant growth, required
Successful experience working with projection, budgeting, revenue, and profitability models
2 or more years of experience in the Government sector with P&L responsibility in dynamic forecasting environments and FAR/DFAR compliance, required
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly including advanced Excel functions; experience with financial modeling using Excel models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good oral and written communication.
